KISS AGAIN! PART 1 INTRODUCING MY FIVE TOOLS(166)

I awoke, today
All fired up to describe
The Line of Control
In fact my writing partner
And I have written
A series of story books for children
About a Dolphin family
That learns to see how—
In lieu of self control—
Love and friendship get buried
Under hard, crusty layers
Of firmly packed lava
After towering infernos of
Repressed anger
Geiser out of a well and
Volcanic eruptions of
Suppressed resentment
Burst out of our mouths
Then as each story peaks
The Seal family
That lives next door
Shows the Dolphins
How to break through a build up of
Hard crusted lava
By making good use of
Five simple tools
And from that day forward and forever more
The Line of Control acts like one of
Five super heros
Who fly in from out of the blue
On a streak of golden insight
To help the Dolphins
Stave off sudden surges of AngEr
So that love, friendship, logic
And shattered ear drums
Are not blown to kingdom come
And in this way does a series of fanciful stories
Show adults and children, alike
How to emulate
Two positively focused families
Who choose to make good use of
Five simple tools
When it is time to solve classic problems
That pop up, day after day
In home after home
And story by story, instead of watching
People go crazy-angry
We're entertained by
A family of hot blooded dolphins
Learning to tame temper tantrums
From the crack of dawn when it's time to get dressed
Until they snuggle, close, under the covers—
Kissing each other good night
Wishing each other sweet dreams
(And doing what comes naturally—depending on their age)
As Annie's hot blooded family
Will be raised to make good use of
These five tools—
So simple as to be readily absorbed
By a three year old mind—
I can assure you that beginning with
THE LINE OF CONTROL
These five super duper, simple tools
Are no pipe dream, day dream, or crock
(Later gater)
You see, once words
Which encourage self control
Soak into adults' spongy minds
Those same words flow out of adult mouths
Into children's ears
And from children's ears
Into their spongy minds
And from spongy, young minds
Those same words flow
Out of the mouths of babes
And in this way doth
Family life sing and dance
To the postive tune of
Little monkey-see-what-Big-Monkey-do
Little Monkey-hear-what-Big-monkey-say
You say as I say
You do as I do
And instead of ashes, ashes
We all fall down
Positively focused leadership
Circle round
And thus doth
A lively, rather than angry, square dance ensue
Allemande right with positively focused Dorsey and so it goes
(Dorsey is the child dolphin's name)
And as family life keeps circling round
Life's a beach
Life's a bitch
A circus
A snake pit
Dorsey, the dolphin, learns self control
From mom and dad or ...
In lieu of these tools
It's back to square one for all concerned
Where power struggles rule
And anger smites friendship and logic until
Love lies knocked out, flattened
Unconscious in the dust
So we all circle round
Change partners
And on to partner number two where
Once again, power struggles
Wrestle love and friendship to the mat until
Step moms, step dads,
Step grandparents, step siblings are
Here today—gone tomorrow
Circle round through divorce court
Again and again
And as everyone's too dizzy to get what's going on
Inside loved one's heads
Ten little monkeys
Jump out of this bed and into that bed until the
Music stops
One chair's out
Dorsey doe
Change partners
Until the cheese stands all alone
Why?
Because family life is now synonymous
With a swiftly spinning, revolving door...
When did family life spin off its axis?
Well since you asked
I believe

Family life
Became a revolving door
When young women began to
Down THE PILL
Giggling girls barely out of school
March off to work
Burn their bras
Go from giggling to jiggling—
Get your hot stuff here
Get your hot stuff there
Hot stuff free for the taking
Here, there, everywhere
From hot stuff to hot sex
Hot sex here
Hot sex there
From hot hot hot
To hot to trot
At the office
In a bar
Hot stuff heating up everywhere but
Home ho-hum home
Throughout the sixties
Change crackles, here and there
Married men sniff it in the air
Married men, hunger toward
The need to taste
The juicy excitement of
Forbidden fruit hanging out
Seemingly, free for the taking
In fertile orchards here, there, everywhere
Guys gobble down green eggs and hamhocks
While swinging singles enjoy
Topless dancers wearing little other than
Thigh high boots or CFMP while
Dancing on poles—inside their homes
And just as traditions, like modesty, thousands of years old
Fall to the ground in imperceptible ways
Marriages, crumbling, as fast as ancient ruins
Are cast off as offhandedly as Grandma's bloomers
Are tossed to the back of the closet along with
the hearts of older women and—kids
You see, THE PILL leaped so far beyond evolutionary change
That society was utterly unprepared for such sudden change
And as Annie's single years lay directly ahead ...
Once passion ignites–well—
Who knows where the creative portion of the mind
Will lead each person next—
Whoops!
On a roll
Getting waaay ahead of myself
Lots to reveal, concerning personal growth to come, but first
Life's gonna change a lot in high school, for me
So let's not skip over that—and
As we've left Joseph hanging in a dungeon on a meat hook, in pain
It's best to throw cold water on guys and gals hot-hot-hot-to-trot
At least for now
So, let's high tail it back to fourteen
Where Lauren is walking to school along side of me
And just as my little sister's first day of fourth grade is about to begin
Eighth grade beckons me toward a young buck, who—
It-seems-will-be-bound-and-determined-not-to-be-thwarted
Because-this-hot-blooded-angry-young-man
Is-about-to-moves-in-for-kiss-number-two!
And just like a square dance
Life circles round—Dorsey doe ...
OY GEVALT!
I SURE COULD USE A CASE OF LOCKJAW—TEMPORARILY-OF COUSE!
:-) That's all folks ... not even one, short PS left in me for today ...
