Today will be spent in reflection
At High Holy Day services
After which family and friends will be
Warmly welcomed into our home
Where loved ones, eager to gather, together
Will enjoy a sumptuous feast in celebration of
A happy, healthy New Year
And as chief cook and bottle washer
Tis time to turn my attention
To tending to last minute details before
Leaving for services, garbed in holiday finery
