If I speak before insight into readiness
Has had time to ripen
That which I'd say may prove to be
As green and incomplete, and perhaps
Taste as sour as the grapefruit, which is
In the process of ripening on my tree
With patience, combined with emergent insight
The fruit of my labor
Which I'll offer up to you in due time
Will grow from green to golden
Just like the grapefruit on my tree
However, unlike a lemon, which
Growing golden, remains more sour than not
The nectar of my mind will pour forth
As sweet and tart as that which
You'd taste had I squeezed
An orange and juicy, pink grapefruit
Into the same glass—
One caution, before you drink—
Please note that the fruit of my mind is not of
The seedless variety for this reason:
While drinking in the nectar of my thoughts
You're sure to find seeds of pensive insight
Which may implant themselves, over time
Within a mind that proves as fertile as your own
And once this host of insights, concerning
Readiness, has been fully absorbed
Perhaps your intuition will speak volumes to you as
Mine does to me—as for now
Tis my turn to wait, patiently, knowing
That silence is golden while
Deep thinking is going on …
Experience has taught me that
It matters not which leader
Has had time to ripen
That which I'd say may prove to be
As green and incomplete, and perhaps
Taste as sour as the grapefruit, which is
In the process of ripening on my tree
With patience, combined with emergent insight

Deep thinking is going on …
It matters not which leader
Gleans insight, first
What does matter is this:
The gracious delivery of each insight, which
Emerges intuitively, thus naturally, from
Within my mind or yours—offering up
A natural, back and forth flow of
Ideas, all of which proves mutually enriching
Emerges intuitively, thus naturally, from
Within my mind or yours—offering up
A natural, back and forth flow of
Ideas, all of which proves mutually enriching
As you may agree—
A host of insights offered up
Graciously, one by one
Graciously, one by one
Has a better chance of being
Clearly heard and thoroughly digested
And that proves most especially true when
Defensive reactiveness does not
Defensive reactiveness does not
Run interference with each mind's sense of clarity
And now that today's train of thought
Is pulling into the station
Here is my mind's last insight for today:
Is pulling into the station
Here is my mind's last insight for today:
Whether we be caterpillar, grapefruit or human ...
And with that said
This question comes to mind, again:
Which might you be:
A waiter or a deeply thoughtful joy creator?
Wishing you a five star day …
Your still-feeling-pensive friend,
Annie
Growing toward readiness to embrace
Change for the better in a
Step by step fashion is nature's way
