It is only with the heart that we can see rightly, as the essence of things is not visible to the eye. (Antoine de Saint Exupery LE PETIT PRINCE)What if the pathways of your mind have become such a mixed-up maze that you have no clue when fear bends your thoughts toward negatively?
What if you and a loved one keep standing dominos up on end, but blindness to your deepest fear makes you lean toward defensive assumptions, which push all of the dominos down, again and again?
What if your loved one catches on to thought patterns driven by insecurity?
What if instead of bringing the same old dominos to the table, your loved one begins to think outside the box?
What if while watching you come forward, holding up another domino, your loved one understands that you have no clue as to when your insecurity pushes them down?
What if your loved one will no longer take part in this game called: I-Love-You-Come-Here-Oh-On-Second-Thought-Go-away-Because-I-Feel-Insecure-When-You're around?
What if your loved one has tired of shining insight onto family patterns in need of positively focused change?
What if your loved one consciously steps to the side, hoping that some day you'll freely choose to tunnel toward the light of a clear-minded day where families sit down, together, in hopes of learning to play a positively focused game called:
I'll muster the courage to see myself as I am instead of as I think myself to be.
What if while playing this game, two people—who wish that worse would flip toward better—choose to do their own work until their wish for healthy connection comes true?
In essence—a mind filled with latent insecurity leads the heart astray.
You see, insecurity leans more quickly toward judgment than compassion.
So ... if you're interested, let's consider this new game plan:
Let's
Open our eyes
Open our ears
Thus clearing
Negatively focused pathways
From our minds.
Let's
Construct
A new school of thought
Inside our minds
Because
It's closet cleaning time.
Otherwise
We'll walk around with bloomers
Pulled down over our heads
Covering our eyes and ears
Which is why all of our best intentions
Keep bumping into walls of our own making.
When we pull
The bloomers off of our heads
You'll see this post
As a domino standing up on end
Please fear me not
I want to hold your hand
