131 DAD'S DAY: A FUN TIME WAS HAD BY ALL (131)

Had lots of people over for Dad's Day.
Fun was had by all.
Hope yours was great, as well.
Too tired to tell stories, today.
Managed to edit a few older posts, instead.
My brain just wants to laze around inside my head.
Time for book club just ahead.
Three thoughts to share before I drive from here to there:

The first from approximately A.D. 161 to 180
Very little is needed to make a happy life;  it is all within yourself, in your way of thinking.   Marcus Aurelius  (Of course coming from a Roman emperor, perhaps his perspective had been a bit jaded.)
The second from my horoscope, today
You have a funny way of explaining yourself and will entertain people even when that is not what you meant to do.
I believe Marcus' thought to be true and hope my horoscope is, too.

Third—today was Dad's day.  My dad, my friend, has been gone for ten years.  I miss him, still.  Interesting point:  If Dad had been one of my best friends, during childhood, Mom slipped into that role after I grew up ... things change from stage to stage.

Bidding you adieu until tomorrow ...
Your friend,
:- )Annie
