92. FIRST KISS Part 11: SET THE TRAGIC SCENE

For some reason, I'm ready to relive that scene in the alley, where a twelve year old girl and a twelve year old boy, who've been secretly crushing on each other, are about to knock their friendship for a loop.  (By the way, a scene is always tragic when inner beasts are unexpectedly unleashed, and only The Shadow [mind] knows why ...)

If subconscious wounds
Splash out of two wells
Fearsomely
Thus uncaging inner beasts
Simultaneously
Trust may die, unexpectedly

At this point
Two heads ...
Swimming in circles ...
Can not make heads or tails
Of what's taking place
So THE BLAME GAME begins

As Joseph and Annie
 Have no clue
That inner beasts exist
Within us all
They are also clueless
About this fact:

Once The Blame Game
Picks up steam
Defensiveness
Imprisons logic ...
Listening is nil
And two vulnerable hearts feel nothing but hurt.

As we do not expect
True love's first kiss
To unleash subconscious beasts
Let's see what happens
When better goes from bad to worse
For two, nice, unsuspecting kids
