Expanding upon insights added to the post penned before this one—
I mean, seriously, does every generation of young people have to
Push the older (experienced) generation to the side of the road so
As to re-invent the wheel without wisdom's guidance, which is why
Deeper truth suggests that for eons the wheels inside our heads have
Continued to be so square as to get all bogged down, bumping
Along until drivers, fresh out of college, get so frustrated with
Head on collisions creating traffic jams as to grow ever more
Squeaky until, once again, the populous feels need to rise up in
A closed minded, revolting manner, where the angriest of folk
Shoot everyone else down, until—miraculously—a leader of
Men, women and children, who inventively 'thinks out of the box'
Stands heads above the rest—and as I've offered up sound reason to
Believe in history repeating itself, I'll bet my last red cent that
The scenarios penned in the previous post will happen unless
The creative mind of a political leader steps up to the plate
And hits a homer, saving the world from losing our shirts to
The egocentric greed of current despots in the nick of time, yet again, and
Having penned this brief post while Ravi naps on her Gramma's bed
I rest my case (at least for today)
