322 PS DID I MENTION ...

Did I mention that unless I'm having an out of body experience
My mind is always kaleidoscopic?
Why is that so?
The human mind is a complex instrument
Made of a wide variety of colorful, interactive parts.
Our minds are made up of wheels that spin this way and that
Our minds shift and change direction in a flash
That's just the way intricate instruments ...
Which produce a conglomeration of feelings and thoughts
Are preprogrammed to work
And knowing all of that to be true
I've come to believe that
Successful problem solving
Requires a set of organized plans
And thus have I asked the creative team
Within my mind to brainstorm this plan or that
Until a recipe firms up
That allows me to calmly place
Each ingredient into the mixing bowl
At its proper time
And as timing is everything
I don't let Lucy McGillicuddy
Mess with my mind's temporary state of clarity
Until I've mustered up the self control
To recognize that funny stuff
May need to be whipped up
In order to lighten up the heavy stuff
That just keeps backing up
In short
If we are all two sided coins
I aim to show you how I managed
To muster the courage
To flip my coin and clearly see my head and my tail
And that leads me to ask these questions of you:
I wonder what you see when you give your coin a flip?
Do you see a head and a tail?
Or
When you tell the tale of your life
Must you see two heads on your coin
And two tails on mine?
Have you developed the strength necessary
To expose both sides of your life—to yourself?
Or must you salve your fears of the truth
By telling tall tales to yourself ...
Because if that's true, then ...
Lucy! You got some 'splainin to do!
