Same song and dance concerning

Covid, which has proved true

Since March, 2019—with

A twist at the end of this post—

So if we follow

The bouncing ball

The lyrics will

Go something like this:

Please social distance

Please mask up

Please acknowledge this

Deeper truth:

If we’re to regain

Our nation’s good health then

Those who feel angrily divided

Have need to stand and re-unite so as to

Work together to save

Our economy from tanking by

Kicking Covid to 

Timbucktoo, which opposes

Every harmful decision

Spewing out of trump’s

Two-faced, revengeful

Poor loser’s brain, so

Intent is his immaturity to

Create as much havoc as

Possible before Biden’s

Inaugural address spotlights

Every issue left ignored

During trump’s

Reign of terror, which

Over these last four years has

Exposed our nation’s dire need of

Change for the better at all levels of

Government, suggesting that

trump’s administration has whipped away

The curtain behind which

Barbaric injustices have been

In desperate need of

Exposure ‘neath layers of

Corruption in such serious

Need of reconstruction as to

Have awakened a widespread

Sense of heartfelt immediacy

As seen by millions of

Protestors, made up of

All nationalities, colors and

Religiosity marching in

Peaceful solidarity through every

State of our nation

As more people than

Ever before embrace

Martin Luther King’s dream as

Our own, and with

The approach of

Thanksgiving 2020

Millions upon millions of Americans

Feel thankful for conscientious changes in

Self awareness concerning

Complacent attitudes, which

Have finally been clearly

Identified and openly acknowledged

At last, and today as the election was

Finally conceded to Biden

MLK and RBG are dancing

A Horah in heaven while singing

Free at last!

Free of trump, at last!
