Considering everything that’s all a-swirl throughout the world, we welcome each day as it comes and manage whatever fate leaves at our front door.
Though energy still evaporates into thin air and I often feel short of breath, I can now accomplish a task for about five minutes before light-headedness sees me needing to sit down, and as pain continues to decrease, I sure am thankful for changes like that🙂
Each time I reflect over this last year, inclusive of every personal step forward that our family and friends endured with me, my gratitude for each of you and eagerness to enjoy life beyond my front door continues to encourage me to regain my physical strength within the cradle of love that buoys my spirit, every day.
As presently, positives, concerning my personal life, outweigh long lasting aftereffects of back-to-back surgeries, 3 to 2, and as my surgeons continue to see my process of healing progressing in keeping with their expectations, my acceptance of ‘being’ rather than ‘doing’ steadies my level of patience.
Once the Covid pandemic (AND hopefully, political pandemonium) are under control, we look forward to dinners in restaurants with loved ones who live nearby and flying to hug family and friends who are a plane ride away; we’ll enjoy popcorn at the movies, make plans for coffee and lunches and accomplish whatever ignites each of our individual passions while encouraging the next generation to take hold of the ‘change-for-the-better’ baton.
With deep appreciation for all your good wishes and delicious goodies, Irwin and I hope all’s well at your end.
