While understanding the deeply concerned grumblings of those who have not yet been able to schedule appointments for the Covid vaccine, I’m proud of our nation, which having experienced a void of national leadership, over these rudderless four years, answered to the urgent need of haste with which our laboratory scientists have successfully tested, produced and are distributing millions of doses of this desperately needed, life saving vaccine.
And thus do I commend our scientists for being first responders along with exhausted physicians, nurses, and hospital staff, who have won the depths of my admiration and gratitude for services rendered to their fellow human beings regardless of political affiliation—and as I have experienced illness so grave as to have been hospitalized via the ER, several times during the Covid pandemic, my undying depth of gratitude for every first responder whose gentle smiles comforted my painful way forward, day by day, continues to give thanks, emanating naturally from deep within my still healing heart, and with our second dose of vaccine scheduled in early Feb., I hope you, too, have been registered if not as of yet then very soon.🙋🏻♀️❤️🇺🇸🌟
