POST ELECTION HIGH DEPENDS UPON POSITIVE FOCUS

Maintaining Post Election High Seeks An Attitude of Positive Focus ...

I’ve been texting with my cousin, Harry, in Miami—can’t believe everything all of my Floridian cousins have to do in preparation for each torrential tropical storm that hits hard though the eye of the hurricane most often bypasses their homes.

As often as I wonder why people rebuild in flood plains after entire towns are leveled, I’ll bet countless souls wonder why anyone would choose to move to the southwestern desert where summer temps rise above 115 degrees.  My answer?  We have air conditioning, and at summer’s end, our homes are still standing, and several months of glorious weather (no mud slides or raging fires endanger our urban/suburban lives).

Again, my therapist friends, working so many hours as to feel exhausted, tell me of clients, who, though employed, have need to control anxiety that spikes sky high now that their natural high over Biden’s win is experiencing withdrawal.

As to me, thank goodness, I’m feeling better, again, as long as I continue to remind any rise in anxiety, concerning Covid or trump, to relax until something actually changes, again, for the worse.

As a matter of fact, knowing that Biden was legally elected and trump’s litigious cases are being tossed out of court, one by one, I’ve decided to relax inner tension by gathering positives in my pockets as if gold coins, adding up, will buy me an umbrella with a silver lining on a darkly cloudy day.

For example, here are a few  golden facts, pocketed within the forefront of my mind: Both Biden and Harris are bright, affable, respected round the world, and our former VP is experienced in the inner workings of The White House.

He’s known to be a gracious negotiator with many friends in the senate, both red and blue, and he and Harris are surrounding themselves with a brain trust of brilliant advisors, all of whom are already engaged with brainstorming in hopes of beginning the work (that’s gone undone), necessary to eventually resolving our nation’s most vital issues, Covid topping their list—and with all of that productivity happening at the helm (none of which was true, over these last four years), our future is finally in good hands, again, despite trump’s cronies’ desperately flailing attempts to dig in their fallen leader’s heels based in the fact that, being blind to denial of reality closing in on all sides, the hole they’re still digging is so deep that the whole kit’n kaboodle is bound to spiral straight into a personal hellhole of each one’s own making.

As statements concerning  Pfizer’s Covid vaccine offer us this week’s natural high, hopefully, our children will be in their classrooms, enjoying their classmates, by Fall; and in addition to my feeling better, so far my family’s healthy—the heat’s broken—friends are visiting on our patio while we peer, smiling through the Arcadia door—plenty of positives keeping my think tank too busy to be a worrywart, needlessly, and many of these positives were not yet true, last week, so, having consciously empowered my intelligence to lower my processor’s absorption of anxiety concerning whatever remains unknown, inner tension has had just cause to relax, and resultant of that change for the better in my attitude, peace of mind is mine until it’s not, at which time, I’ll remind myself to pad the pockets of my mind with every gold coin I can findπŸ™‹πŸ»‍♀️❤️πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

IF HAPPINESS IS AN ATTITUDE THEN ...

First things first—today is a very special day.

Dearest Dad,

May you rest peacefully, eternally, with Mom by your side, as had been true for 59 years of marriage, through thick and thin—you always saw my precious mother as your beautiful bride while you loved each other, dearly, until death did you part when both of you were 87, leaving Mom to miss your loving presence until she’d celebrated her 100th birthday, after which, she flew into your waiting arms, and though we miss you both immeasurably and feel your presence and Mom’s amongst us, your children and grandchildren are celebrating wholeheartedly in honor of wishing our beloved Dad and Grandpa Morry a very happy 108th birthday, today—

And now, having prioritized familial love before my processor dives into today’s thoughts concerning the reality of current events m, here on Earth—let’s see what CNN had need to say—

(Quoting CNN) “Oxford dictionaries change 'sexist' and outdated definitions of the word 'woman'”

That feels good.

Pfizer is close to offering up a Covid vaccine that is testing 90% effective.

That feels too good to be true, so I felt need to substantiate that claim.

(Quoting CNN) “Reality is setting in among President-elect Joe Biden's allies that the transition leading up to his January 20 inauguration may be more difficult than many inside Biden-world had assumed, two officials said Monday, with a legal fight now a possibility.

Biden told his allies over the weekend that he wanted to give Republicans -- and President Donald Trump -- a little time to accept the results of the election.

But the Trump-appointed General Services Administration administrator, Emily W. Murphy, whose job is to declare that there is a president-elect -- a move that triggers the transition process -- has not yet made that declaration. And the GSA issued a statement Monday inaccurately comparing Biden's win to the George W. Bush vs. Al Gore election of 2000, in which the outcome at this stage was in doubt.

The statement triggered worry in Biden's camp that it is facing a fight to get federal agencies to accept the legitimacy of the outcome of the 2020 election

Biden allies will start escalating their rhetoric on the matter, making the case for the election's legitimacy in television interviews and more, the officials said.”

That feels worrisome.

My daily attitude is based upon which news article the intuitive portion of my brain guides my spirit to focus most closely upon—that which worries my sense of well being or that which encourages my awareness to welcome change for the better taking place in real time.

Bottom line, here is the trio of life events that affect the sliding nature of my spirit’s sense of well being, every day—I can choose to concentrate the largest share of my mental focus on a power play attempting to push us back in time—or on a stalemate that freezes our think tanks within a worrisome state of mind—or on a current event in which the lengthy process of lasting change for the better is being proactively won, two steps forward, one back, for all concerned.

As all three choices describe the path that team Biden/Harris is currently treading, I train my brain to concentrate my focus, most often, upon each next positive step toward Inauguration Day.

You see, the fact that I credit our Pres-Elect’s experienced processor with actively absorbing the guidance of many of the world’s most brilliant advisors, determines the positive bent of my attitude, day after day.

So here’s what

Don’t worry

Be happy

Means to me—

While penning today’s train of intuitive thought, so much that’s beyond my control proves to be in hands fully capable of priming our sick with worry nation (over lack of leadership concerning so many crucial issues during the trump administration) that brainstorming sessions of experts prove necessary to recharging a deeply anxious, desperately worried populous, composed of both red and blue).  And as I am not one of those experts, thank goodness, I, understanding the importance of subscribing to the concept of division of labor, can coax my brain to relax inner tension, because, I’m not at the helm; Biden/Harris is, and my faith in their brain trust is strong.

In fact at this stage of my recovery from life saving (or life threatening, depending upon attitude) surgeries—I figure it this way—with so much being primed to create change for the better since the majority of we, the people of The United States of America voted for Biden/Harris to lead Americans of every age away from enduring four more years of barely surviving the blundering nature of the entire trump administration, it’s my choice to relax my worries concerning the well being of our nation in favor of embracing our democracy’s intent of ensuring bi-partisans participation in carving the step by step path toward recreating our own salvation so that each of our spirits, led by Biden and Harris, experiences a heightened sense of thriving as never before.

So—now that

The people have spoken by

Casting a majority of votes for

Placing change for the better

In the capable hands of

Kindhearted, experienced

Leaders, who care for

Your welfare and mine

Let’s agree to disagree while

Holding hands so as to take

 A proverbial leap of faith

 For this reason —

Life proves too short to be

A worry wart, unnecessarily

Overlong, which is why

Intuition is guiding

My think tank to

Ask you to seriously

Consider taking hold of

My out-stretched hand

As we patiently join up with

The Exodus, which, having

Landed safely on

The clear sighted shoreline of

The Red Sea, yet again, finds

Our nation readying

The populous to walk

The Freedom Trail

Together, with our sights

Focused clearly upon

Approaching

The Promised land—

Free at last!

Free at last!

And now, having had

My version of MLK’s say

This train of thought, which

Pretty much determines

My personal choice of

Attitude, renewable, day by day

Adheres to this frame of mind:

Don’t be a worry wart, Annie

For too long a time

Instead of feeling stuck in an exhausted

Sad, frustrated, angry, confounded, scared or

Stalemated state of mind

Find sound reason to feel so hopeful as to

Be Happy while you’re still

On this side of the grass, knowing that

Socrates The Bard, Jochebed and

MLK and RBG

Will be eager to welcome you

Into the Pearly Gates

Once your name is

Inscribed on the top line of

Your personal page in

The Book of Choice vs Fate, where

Pluses and minuses will

Determine where

Your lifetime is about to

Land—Crashing into

The world’s hard headed

Stone cold hearts of bullies still

Bellowing, Poor Me while burning

Within the firey furnace of

Damnation, below

Or gently ascending on

The playful wings of

Angels into fluffy white clouds

—Because—

Though tis true no one is

Perfect or angelic, upon

Reflecting over

Your lifetime and mine

The ultimate emergence of

Deeper truth

Determines each person’s

History as proving so

Bad as to be hell bent or so

Good natured as to have been

Heaven sent to accomplish

So much in the ways of

What proves good for others on

Planet Earth as to have been

Granted a round trip fare by

Fate, the day of return to be

Determined at a later date ...

And though I don’t really

Believe in heaven and hell

I do believe in miracles

Having experienced several, myself

Because it is within

Each person’s power to

Work toward creating

A sense of heaven on earth as

Determined by which attitude

You and I decide to

Absorb for ones’ own so as to

Project an attitude of hope with

Our loved ones, most

Often, at home as well as

Wherever we go for as long as

We’re so fortunate as to

Remain on planet Earth, freely

And proactively participating

In the on-going global goal of

Choosing to participate in the

Expansion of a circle of love

And as that’s an intuitive wrap

For today, I wish you

Peace and love and laughter

Until we meet, again ...

(Truly, I have no clue where

All of this comes from except

To say that, upon awakening

To each new day

A heartfelt sense of

Deeper truth suggests that

My brain takes off on its own

And just won’t quit till

Intuition says:  That’s it!

GO RED WHITE AND BLUE!

Sooo—my power of intuition feels need to share today’s train of thought with both Red and Blue.

Don’t worry. Be happy.

This statement never grows old, being that, with patience intact, deeper truths inevitably emerge, coloring in details, which appear black or white, today, suggesting that current conflicts will surely be resolved, somewhere down the road ...

Who would have ever believed that a majority of the people of The United States of America would feel need to liberate our democracy from a dictator, who chose to spend a most momentous Saturday, hiding on the golf course rather than penning a sincere speech of concession, knowing full well that his loss does not equate with this election being stolen.

No wonder why Van Jones, while expressing inner fear for his children’s welfare, could not hold back tears while releasing the heartfelt depths of a loving father’s relief for the future of his daughters’ personal and professional well being.

A wondrous, deeply touching moment in time was shared clearly and openly on international TV ...

Dear friends and deeply valued allies, round the world—Only hours after announcing Biden’s win, millions of parents of boys and girls were doing much more than rejoicing in the streets—wearing masks! They were literally pointing to our Vice President Elect on TV as exemplifying sound reason to respect the fact that women—indeed women of all colors and religious beliefs—are empowered, just as is true of men, with the intelligence, personal strengths and emotional maturity to lead our great nation toward prosperity while the voice of the people continues to ring out loud like The Liberty Bell in Philadelphia, PA, so relieved are we to save our democracy from being further exploited, over these next four years, by a dictator-want-to-be, who chose to go golfing to hide on one of the most momentous days of our entire history while many of his unmasked staff are quarantined with Covid.

This deeply contested election is definitely one for the books, which, no doubt, are being outlined while I pen today’s post, and with sound reason to believe a good night’s sleep will be mine, tonight, hopefully, the same will be true for each of you.

Then upon awakening feeling more rested snd relaxed than tensely overtaxed, day after day, let’s aspire to close the angry gap between parties made worse by political greed, so as to make good use of our smart hearts by brainstorming how best to go about reuniting our nation for everyone’s sake, thus saluting Biden’s choice to end divisive attitudes in favor of melding Go Red! Go Blue! into—

GO RED WHITE AND BLUE!

Which is exactly what our democratic principles are designed to do.

And just as Joe and Kamala wove those of white, black, Indian, Christian and Jewish descent into a fully functional, highly productive political ‘family’, I believe that we, the highly diverse people of The re-Uniting States of America are heading toward carving a path toward accomplishing the same sense of thriving, which had fallen off track, decades back, once big business tossed a wrench into the clear workings of our three separate branches of central government, causing our well oiled political machine to fill with so much junk and malarkey-like gunk as to run completely amuck.

And with today’s intuitive train of thought chugging toward the light of a brand new day, do I lift my half full glass of Ensure to toast to recovering in body, spirit, attitude and political outlook concerning engaging our minds with eternal need to embrace change for the better, which takes a whale of humility, courage, patience, positive focus and time while each of us chooses to hold out our hands to toward accepting each others’ differences with every intention of welcoming the on-going expansion of our international circle of love by sincerely caring about and respecting each other’s well being—and as to Pfizer’s hopeful announcement, my best thoughts are cheering these scientific minds onward toward successfully readying a Covid vaccine for public consumption for many reasons, inclusive of the fact that Will and I’ve not been able to leave our house (other than for hospitalizations, which Will could not attend) or invite loved ones into our home since March, and though—Don’t worry.  Be happy never grows old—the loss of millions of jobs during quarantining, indefinitely—while trump, ignoring the pandemic nature of deaths raging through every state of our nation, plays golf—does!

As for now while leaving you to digest the validity of today’s deeper truths—none of which are new though all are worthy of review—riding out of the intuitive portion of my processor, Wilsonette (my trusty walker) I are about to fling open my Arcadia door and release additional steam by yelling (exercise being an impossibility as of yet) HOORAY FOR PRESIDENT ELECT BIDEN WHO DECLARES HIMSELF TO BE PRESIDENT, NOT JUST FOR THE ONE PERCENT BUT PRESIDENT OF ALL THE PEOPLE, WHICH PROVES INCLUSIVE OF YOU AND ME AND EDIE, MY DEAR FRIEND AND RIGHTHAND WOMEN OVER THESE PAST FORTY YEARS—SO HERES TO ENJOYING COFFEE WITH EDIE WHILE WE REJOICE ROUND MY KITCHEN TABLE WITH TREASURED FAMILY AND FRIENDS ONCE FEAR OF EXPOSING MY VULNERABILITY TO SUCCUMBING TO COVID AFTER SPENDING THE LAST TWELVE MONTHS FIGHTING TO SAVE MY LIFE FROM HEART-LUNG CANCER HAS TRULY PASSED, AT LAST!

As to what surprise tomorrow will bring—let’s just enjoy today, knowing that positive change is in the works for one and all—inclusive of the one percent, because what’s good for our nation eventually includes you, too, though the reverse of that fact is not true for the 99%, whether all of us have seriously considered that deeper truth or not.  So where do go from here?

With patience the truth concerning this presidential election will win out in the end

Whew! πŸ™‹πŸ»‍♀️😊

WHOA NELLIE! THIS ELECTION BETWEEN BIDEN AND TRUMP FEELS LIKE RIDIN’ A BUCKING BRONC

One guess as to who mocks everyone, including the disabled, and wants vote counting to stop in PA and GA but continue in AZ and Nevada, because so little makes sense if you are the brain that’s held hostage inside trump’s head, and reality points to the fact that you’re losing this crucial election, which is impossible, because, likening yourself to a Supreme Court Justice, you‘ve appointed yourself PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE ...

Paraphrasing Biden’s statement, (not new but timely)—no bully will slay democracy—leaving me to ask, once again, which candidate proves presidential and which proves frivolously litigious—our former Vice President, who assumes the wise patience of an aged David or the pretender to the throne, whose bullying demeanor brings a felled Goliath to mind?  Oh wait!  There are no thrones in The USA—except for the gold encrusted one trump has been constructing to fit his braggadocios self, over these past four years.

The fact that Biden chose to prioritize our nation’s need for sane, experienced leadership over retiring on his laurels at the age of 78 makes me proud to vote for this leader of ALL Americans.  In fact, I’d thought that considering the needs of all Americans had been expected of every past president until trump had cunningly chosen to turn Americans against each other more cuttingly than ever before, knowing that to divide is to conquer—so thank you, Joe, for so clearly stating your stance of paying homage to purple mountain majesty by pledging to work toward reuniting red and blue.  And now, as once again, we turn toward wait-n-see which state will seal our fate, Will has turned from CNN to his cowboy channel where the good guys always winπŸ™‹πŸ»‍♀️πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

ELECTION DAY—NOVEMBER 3, 2020

So here it is—the most important election of our lifetime, and I’m SURE we’re going to win—πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έuntil I get scared, again—I mean, seriously—He built Mexico’s wall around The White House, he threatens governors who refuse to heel, and his thugs are harassing Biden supporters on the open road—Geez!

On the other hand—

So many more millions are with us, today, than was true four years ago, before the worst bitter herb in the history of The USA gave us countless reasons to back up our opinions with votes!

With pearls adorning my person in celebration of freedoms won thanks to RBG’s unflagging support for women’s rights ... please stay safe and be well, dear friends, as we unite while awaiting results with bated breath!

πŸ™‹πŸ»‍♀️❤️πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ✨πŸ’«πŸŒŸ

While my lifelong friend, Susan and I were discussing book clubs, I texted that, in addition to her good fortune concerning enjoying 30 years of leadership’s book choices, I believe my bias against many of my book club’s selections is based in the fact that at the first hint of poking the bear (which in my case relates to my subconscious need to suppress so much as even one left over hint of PTSD, which refuses to consider reading a book related to child abuse or rape or mental torture or enslavement or slayings of any kind, referencing man, woman and child’s inhumanity toward humankind‘s naked vulnerabilities.)

Interestingly, that fearful attitude was not true of me during my twenties, when my library first began to overflow with hard bound books concerning every one of those genres—as if the dark side of my subconscious was electing to carve out ‘safe’ passage for my psyche to recreate my existential path by diving into the darkened depths of my personal history, which slowly uncovered itself, layer upon layer, over many years in which I’d felt compelled to employ one therapist after another, all of whom had played a significant role in leading my psyche toward loosening its hold onto the tiger’s tail in exchange for opening my eyes to acknowledge  lifelong intuitive need to develop the host of inner strengths necessary to muster the humility and courage to set my childlike, teddy bear visualizations aside so as to identify the true tiger, staring at me—eye-to-eye from within my very own mirror—which had, ever since my baby sister’s unexpected, sudden death, chastised me for being such a bad little girl, whose naughtiness made everyone I loved so desperately unhappy that I no longer deserved to be loved by anyone unless my smile served to fulfill everyone’s every need, spoken or not, without fail—whew—heavy load of undeserved guilt for a really good little girl to bear behind my ever-ready-to-please-sparkling smile—which upon reflection, made a cliche of me until EMDR therapy encouraged every portion of my brain to work together as a whole so as to decode my inner life complexities, thus freeing my current self image to grow ever more emotionally mature as my expansive capacity to embrace insight based leaps of faith challenged my intelligence to acknowledge sound reason to accept and love both sides of me, which make up my adult psyche’s newly emboldened, healthy, self-motivated, whole/some determination to achieve heartfelt goals, which had previously seemed beyond my imperfect reach.  In short, my voice has become ever more unafraid to stand up to authority, head held high, while clearly stating that which I feel and think I need.

Once today’s intuitive train of thought began to tunnel out of my subconscious as though all on its own, shining its spotlight upon an inter-related string of insights that has no doubt served to soothe my spirit‘s raw stomach ache, which had irritated my digestive tract over these last tension tightening days—I came to see personal need to remind myself to regain a sense of inner calm over the duration of these next few weeks—or months until trump and his offspring plus Jerrod (like his father like son) are, hopefully, garbed in orange jumpsuits, designed by Ivanka, behind bars, manufactured in the USA.  And having had my say for today, it’s back to CNN for positively focused me, who, thank goodness, remains highly addicted to—this hope:  During the aftermath of our four year tumble into trump’s tantruming tweets, 24/7, the best is yet to come with Biden at the helm.

Having made it through heart/lung surgeries, a day apart, I’ll not fall apart while awaiting Presidential Election results—ditto for US Senate races, as well.

And on that note, tis time to turn on CNN ... AnnieπŸ™‹πŸ»‍♀️❤️πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

ANY WHO STILL STUMP FOR TRUMP MUST BE AS INSANE AS HE PROVES TO BE

Amazing to think that after electing our first black president, twice, rather than continuing to move our nation in a forward direction, our impatience with change for the better chose to turn back the clock by electing a gold encrusted bigoted blow hard, whose utter disrespect for democratic principles batter our ears every time his voice releases yet another inconceivably contemptible, hornets’ nest of lies concerning every vital aspect of life—most especially anything that’s of a scientific nature, and thus—with trump at the helm—our nation has run completely amuck, over these past four years.

And just as with toothpaste, PUTIN THE trump BACK INTO THE TUBE may prove to be our nation’s greatest feat as seen by the millmm r of voters who continue to march straight toward The White House on both sides of the street.

This week, we have the singular opportunity to right the vast number of wrongs, which have offered the nations of the free world sound reason to gasp, repeatedly, so aghast are we each time this truth must be grasped, anew—our current president is anything but sane.

Why was it crucial to vote blue on Nov. 3rd before 8pm?  Because the tag team of reality and common sense continues to spotlight the fact that our forefathers’ courageous fight for democracy is not yet over in 2020, and every serviceman/woman’s personal pledge to ensure that his/her loved ones’ hard won freedoms  remain preserved in perpetuity, cannot co-exist on American soil peaceably with a heartless narcissistic dictator-want-to-be such as our nation’s current commander in chief repeatedly sees himself to be—bottom line—Democracies are not ruled by dictator-Putin-want-to-be’s ... and a peaceful change of command does not call for ruffians to make up a caravan of flag waving trucks driven by thugs, who are filmed surrounding a bus load of Biden supporters, threatening peacekeepers, resulting in the cancellation of their gathering—in short—

Most everything the current administration says and does is—un-American.  And so much is illegal that the Senate’s self serving decision to declare trump unimpeachable has unscrewed our forefather’s balance of power just as capitalism, unchecked, has seen the scales of Lady Justice swing so dangerously toward the right that the eternal torch held high in the hand of The Lady in the Harbor has become so dim as to darken the hopes of the American people—but not enough to have stopped us from masking up so as to have lined up and cast our votes in protection of ensuring the healthy future of The American way ...

Since the beginning of his campaign, Biden’s promise to be every American’s president, has been declaring that we’re in a battle for the soul of our nation.  And—bottom line—that’s the truth,

Paraphrasing, Thomas Friedman, columnist for The NY Times,—(have we experienced the last weekend that we’ll see America as we know it? ... America, where free and public elections actually happened ... If free elections ‘break’ it’ll be really hard to put the toothpaste back into the tube ...

Over these past few trying days, my digestive system has been feeling raw, perhaps due to the irritant combination of swallowing iron supplements along with seeing ‘red’ refusing to accept trump’s defeat once ballots had been cast and the polls closed at 8pm on Nov. 3rd.

Thus far, this week, I’m feeling somewhat better, and have decided to forego even one more iron pill till physical and emotional irritations have had time to calm down.

With allergic reactions increasing along with our recent change in season, coupled with serious consideration of our concern about consequences of climate change, I hope your weekend is proving as restful as is humanly possible what with another horrific hurricane riling up oceanic swells reminding us of near snd present dangers threatening the declining health of our planet, which scientific study proves as directly related to climate change, which trump insists is yet another hoax to add to many months of bald faced lies concerning Covid.  And though I cannot escape into fantasyland along with trump’s cultist cronies, it does my heart good to imagine you comfortably seated in an easy chair, while quarantining, reading by a sunlit window, which having wrapped you in the warmth of sunbeams, sees me hoping that the content of your book offers your mind more uppers than downers during this politically astoundingly confounding time in our nation’s history.

If you believe you’ve voted your conscience then, it’s time to breathe deep and relax with a good read in your hands, which brings to mind, yet again, my hope that book club selections, during exceptionally trying times, will take the current state of our spirits into consideration.

On the other hand, so much that’s worth reading for discussion proves heavy in content, which is why, throughout this difficult year, I’ve not been able to absorb most of the selections chosen by both of my book clubs.  And as I’ve yet to regain the energy necessary to absorb mental stimulation, which always provides for lively discussions, my choice—to forego reading anything heavy followed by deciding not to participate quietly during Zoom discussions—go hand in hand in hopes of regaining my peace of mind whenever it slips into oblivion, again.

And who am I to comment on your book club selections, most especially during this lengthy time period, which has been so terribly trying as to call forth my defense system to blind the conscious portion of my brain from openly acknowledging the depths of my stress for more than a flash of honest recognition before a velvet curtain descends, covering all sense of distressing reality within the sturdy, opaque framework of denying any reaction other than feeling grateful to be alive and surrounded by love..

On the other hand, I believe our soulful need to reveal deeper truth sets our minds free to relax suppressed anxiety, so, hopefully, as my intuitive powers have opened the conscious portion mind to absorb the continuing existence of both sides of human nature as revealed within the content of this post, I believe we’ll witness my digestive distress decrease though the presidential election and the senate’s self absorbed game of musical chairs is soon to advance toward whatever will be as the indefinite nature of our nation’s future repeatedly proves to be only a day away.  Whew!

As for now, I hope the sun shines brightly over your person throughout the rest of today.  No need to expand that wish to hover over the head of a desert dweller, namely, me.  In fact,  my plan to slather myself with sunscreen before relaxing on my palm covered patio’s royal blue pillowed, two seater, super comfy swing, knowing that my trusted commentators on CNN are being recorded, has changed for the better upon holding my phone to my ear so as to hear Steven and Ravi chime in with—ready or not, we’re coming over to play, which delighted my heart so much as to patiently table my readiness to absorb whatever’s been taking place throughout our nation on a day when family time is prioritized over the most revealing election of our lives ... Ohhhm

HALLOWEEN 2020

Though it’s sad for the kids, I agreed with parents who thought it wise not to trick or treat, this year, because scientists are still gathering info concerning how Covid is spread and caught ... πŸ™‹πŸ»‍♀️

One of my nieces created a candy treasure hunt for her children inside her house followed by creating a game of dice in which winners were rewarded with each other’s treasure hunt candy

Bobbing for apples is a Halloween tradition that’s good for laughs.

I’m sure that any and all creative ideas, which can be shared on Facebook, will be appreciated by parents, everywhere ...

Steven, who literally has hundreds of kids come to his door, year after year, has created a protective fencing barrier connected to a ten foot pipe in which to safely dispense candy to kids whose parents OK trick or treating despite Covid risks. (Ravi is a much needed super hero, as 2020 has been very trying year for people of all ages throughout the entire world. πŸ‘»πŸ˜ˆπŸ‘ΉπŸ‘ΊπŸ€‘

Barry’s annual pumpkin carving tradition entertained Tony and Ray for hours

Thank goodness, tis  a Happy Halloween when adult creativity saves the day

What a year this has been, exacerbated by our President whose ridicule of masking up leads gullible folks ever more deeply into Denialand where they remain blind to the deadly dangers of our Covid crises until one of their loved ones is in need of a respirator in the ICU ...  though no man created Covid, trump, the consummate politician, continues to conduct unmasked rallies, sans social distancing, in state after state, thus recreating a public travesty concerning his dangerous, cold hearted uncaring, ongoing spread of one man’s abuse of power, which will continue to offer tragic consequences to countless red hatted families, over these next three days—and who knows what his devious mind has planned for November 3rd???
